The Old Georgia Archives BuildingCompleted in 1965 and designed by A. Thomas Bradbury, architect behind the Govenor's Mansion and Yaarab Shrine, the modern classic was demolished in March 2017.

As originally announced, the building was to come down in August then December 2016, but complications pushed the date out to March 2017. The building was imploded on March 6th, 2017. The State intends to construct a $100 million judicial complex on the site.
